Led by Dr. Ssekyewa Alex, our dedicated team includes experienced nurses, midwives, lab technicians, and support staff. Each member is committed to delivering compassionate, quality healthcare and ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for at Me & You Health Center. Together, we strive to create a welcoming environment focused on healing, support, and trust for the Mityana community.
Our History
Me & You Health Care was founded on August 1st, 2022, by Dr. Ssekyewa Alex, who identified a growing need for quality and accessible medical services in Kitinkokola, Mityana. Starting as a small private facility 250 meters off the main road, it has grown into a trusted community hospital known for compassionate care and essential services including scans, antenatal support, pressure treatment, counseling, and general outpatient care.
The vision behind the center was not just medical treatment, but also social impact. This led to the creation of a nonprofit wing that assists vulnerable groups—especially children, elderly, and disadvantaged mothers—by covering medical costs and offering long-term support. Today, Me & You Health Care stands as a symbol of hope and service in the region.
About Dr. Alex
Dr. Ssekyewa Alex was born on 8th,October, 1997, in Masaka, Uganda. At the age of 12, he relocated to Mubende, where he completed his primary education. His academic journey reflects a solid commitment to healthcare and community service. He pursued his secondary education at St. Andrews SSS Madudu and St. Noa SSS Kiyinda in Mityana, before completing his A-Level studies at St. Lawrence College, Horizon Campus, in 2017.
Dr. Ssekyewa holds a Diploma in Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses and possesses additional certifications in Reproductive Health, First Aid Management, and Health Services Management & Entrepreneurship. He later joined Kampala International University (Western Campus) to further his medical training. His educational and professional background demonstrates a blend of clinical expertise and a strong interest in community-centered healthcare delivery.
